Spacious Bondi Beach Escape

Comfortable, roomy, great location. Positive: The property is large and airy. The kitchen is well-stocked with appliances, though we needed to buy a couple of basics - bin bags, laundry tabs. The air con works well and the beds are comfortable - we slept well. The TV is smart, the WiFi was pretty good (dropped a few times but came back). The lounging area is comfortable and well-placed for the TV. The agents were responsive. The location is great - short walking distance to Bondi, even shorter to the Bondi Icebergs pool, where we swam twice. (It also has a good gym for $40). Negative: Not much - a good set of the most basic materials would always be good.

This apartment is a little gem in amongst the eclectic mash that is Bondi Beach. Whilst some luxury apartments overlook Bondi Beach, you will not get in this apartment - however, it is a short walk to the beach and all the fun. Most places in Bondi Beach look shabby and unloved - but it is a young person's place and lots of stairs make it difficult if you have a physical disability. Having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was essential and the kitchen was well-appointed with plenty of crockery and silverware. The sofa was big and comfy - but the rest of the furniture was uncomfortable to sit on, especially the outdoor dining chairs and indoor dining. But it's a rental! For the price - it was great. It looked like it needed a deep clean - but for the most part - it was fine.
